53rd Annual State Convention 

Join us as we celebrate 53 years of raising expectations for blind people! 

When: Friday November 10 and Saturday, November 11, 2023
 Where: Crown Plaza Hotel, 801 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick 

Come for a weekend of learning and making connections!

Our Friday afternoon activities are back better than Ever! 12:30 to 4:30 we will have a resource fair featuring exhibitors such as OSCIL, Talking Books Plus, Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, ATEL, 211 Neighborhood Health Plan of RI and Vanda Pharmaceuticals. The Secretary of State Election Division will have hands on demonstration of the ExpressVote. In conjunction with the resource fair there will be an informative workshop on self-care followed by laughing yoga! Come watch an audio described movie from 7:00-9:00 pm.  
On Saturday, general session, 9:00-4:30 pm will include the latest news from our national office, updates from Secretary of State office, Insight, OSCIL, Demonstrations of innovative technology such as Be My AI and Envision glasses and much more. The convention will conclude with our evening banquet 5:30-8:00 where we socialize, celebrate our accomplishments throughout the year, listen to the keynote address by our national Representative, Kathryn Webster and have our traditional basket raffle drawing.

Coffee and pastry will be available starting at 8:00 am. Feel free to come early and catch up with old friends.

The registration fee for our exciting full day convention package is $50. This includes  an informative speaking program, light breakfast, buffet lunch and banquet dinner. 
The registration fee for Convention package 2 is $30. This includes a speaking program, light breakfast and buffet lunch.  
The Registration fee for virtual attendance is $10.00. Zoom link will be emailed prior to convention.
